Car details: the VIN or license plate, the car's details, photos, video and your answers about its condition.
Purchase and loan details: your address, date of birth, Social Security number, identity document, employment and income, and payment details.
Usage details: the pages you visit, the cars you view and save, and information about your device and browser.
2. How we use your information
To run your account and show your listings, offers and messages; to complete sales with our partner dealer; to get loan offers from partner banks; to verify your identity and prevent fraud; to send you emails about your deals and, if you allow it, other updates; and to improve the services.
3. Who we share it with
Partner dealers and banks that complete your sale or loan; identity, income and address verification services; vehicle history and VIN decoding services; carriers that deliver cars; payment processors; and authorities when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies
We use cookies that keep you signed in and make the website work, and, with your consent, cookies that help us understand how the website is used.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. Records of completed sales are kept for seven years, as the law requires. When you delete your account, other information is deleted or anonymized.
6. Your choices and rights
You can update your details in Settings, choose which emails you get, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or delete your information, or to opt out of certain uses. Contact us to make a request.
7. Security
We protect your information with encryption and access controls. Sensitive details such as your Social Security number are never shown to other users.
8. Children
The services are not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes to this statement
We may update this statement and will tell you about significant changes before they take effect.
