Frequently asked questions
Can I sell a car that still has a loan on it?
Yes. The sale goes through our partner dealer, who works with your lender. You tell us about the loan when you list the car, and we guide you through the rest.
Can I get a loan to buy from a private seller?
Yes, that is what the platform is for. You fill in one application, several banks answer, and you choose the offer you like. Because a licensed dealer is part of the deal, banks treat it like a regular dealer purchase.
What does it cost?
Listing a car is free. When the car sells, the seller pays a $450 platform fee right after signing the purchase agreement, and the buyer pays a $550 platform fee together with the down payment. If the car is bought with a loan, there is also a $50 GPS tracker. A warranty and delivery are optional and priced separately. If the sale falls through, the fees are refunded.
When does the seller get the money?
The full sale price appears on the seller's balance as soon as the car is handed over. It can be withdrawn 30 days later to the bank account given in the purchase agreement.
What is the inspection?
A mechanic at one of our locations checks the car. Until then the listing carries a “Not inspected” mark. The listing can be published before the inspection.
Can I cancel a deal?
Yes. Before you sign the purchase agreement, cancelling is free. After signing, the cancellation fee set in the purchase agreement applies and goes to the other side. Anything you already paid is refunded within 5 to 7 business days, including the seller's platform fee.
What happens if the bank declines my loan?
You pay nothing and no fee is charged. A manager contacts you to go over the options, and you can still buy the car without a loan while it is for sale.
How do I talk to the buyer or the seller?
Use Messages on the site. You are free to share a phone number and agree on a time to see the car.
